We're fashion students, so naturally we love shopping! We're always on the lookout for local places to buy our new outfits, whether it be little boutiques, outlets or widely known chains. We've rounded up our best places to hit the shops and spend some cash in Northampton:
The main area to shop in Northampton is the Grosvenor centre, it houses Topshop, Miss Selfridge, House of Fraser (which will soon be home to Primark instead we hear) and some other big name stores.
The high street which is adjacent to the centre offers more big name stores such as River Island and H&M (student favourites) but also an array of independent boutiques. One of our favourites is the Circus Boutique. If you're looking for some local products then we recommend a trip to 'Made in Northampton' which lies in a street just behind the main high street.
If you're looking for something a bit different we firstly suggest taking a trip to the Dr Martens factory outlet! It's a bit hit and miss but usually there's something good there. All pairs are 20 pounds (bargain) and they have some one offs and popular styles too. For vintage lovers, check out A Most Marvellous Place To Shop, it's a haven of vintage goodies and homeware. There's even a little cafe to stop and have a cuppa and slice of cake.
And how could we not mention our very own ARRAY pop up shop opening in Market Walk on the 24th March!!
